		<description>Thank you for citing my blog post.  Someday people may wonder why Sales and Marketing were not aligned before.  It makes too much sense.  However today&#039;s reality is that Marketing has &quot;done its own thing&quot; for so long, it will be a painful transformation for most organizations.

Technology is merely a tool, not the whole equation.  It still takes people who are ready, willing and able to change their old ways.
